ORENAIR finalized winter Sochi program

 

ORENAIR performed flights to/from Sochi from Kazan, Novosibirsk, Omsk, Orenburg, Perm, Samara, Chelyabinsk, Ufa, Almaty, Munich and Frankfurt am Main in January-February of this year. During the period of January 24 to February 24 ORENAIR performed 216 flights, transported 23000 passengers, 32 tons of baggage and 10 tons of cargo according to preliminary calculations. Besides, the airline performed 10 flights en-route Krasnodar-Sochi-Krasnodar and some flights en-route Sochi-Moscow. February 6, 7, 22, 23 and 24 were the peak dates when all air tickets had been snapped up. 3 sales have been carried out during the campaign of air ticket sale and about 1200 tickets were bought according to the discounted prices.

ORENAIR passengers included sport national teams from Canada, Australia, Iceland, Russian volunteers from Samara, Ufa, Kazan, Chelyabinsk and Orenburg, journalists of Dutch broadcasting company and Canadian television, artists of State Russian Folk Siberian Choir and State Dance Ensemble "Ural" as well as hundreds of supporters. Winners of the skiing race A. Legkov and I. Chernousov also flew with ORENAIR. Royal persons such as King and Queen of Norway, Prince of Jordan made use of ORENAIR services. Their Majesties and His Highness got small souvenirs from the airline.

ORENAIR flight crew operated flights to Sochi, noted a remarkable atmosphere of kindness on board the aircraft. All travelers who flew to the competitions hoped for the victories of their teams. On the way back there was an everybody’s atmosphere of delight from acquired impressions.

Numerous notes of acknowledgement to the airline have been received after the completion of flight operation to Sochi. Passengers emphasized pilots’ professionalism, high level of comfort, work of flight attendants as well as their beautiful uniform and delicious meal. Passengers flying from Germany compared ORENAIR flight service with the service rendered on board of the best international airlines. During the period of January – February 2014 six Russian airlines operated flights to Sochi from Russian cities and only three airlines, including ORENAIR, operated international flights to the capital of Winter Games.
