Seat choice in the aircraft

«Seat choice in the aircraft» – is a chargeable service which provides the opportunity to choose the seat in economy class during web-registration on airline website.

The service is available for passengers during check-in (opening – 24 hours and closing 4 hours before departure).

Fixed fee charged for this service:

  • seats’ category "Priority" 1 000 (one thousand) rubles* including VAT (value-added tax)
  • seats’ category "Self-selection"** 300 (three hundred) rubles* including VAT (value-added tax)

* If paying online on the website of JSC “Orenburg Airlines” using credit card with another currency, conversion to rubles is carried out automatically according to the tariffs of card-issuing bank.

** Seats of category "Self-selection" are provided to passengers automatically and free of charge during check-in at the airport of departure.

Seats of category "Space+" are provided to passengers automatically and free of charge during check-in at the airport of departure (except for the departures from airport Orenburg).

Chargeable service “Seat choice in the aircraft” is only available for scheduled flights of “Orenburg Airlines”.

Taking into account technical characteristics of each aircraft type, the number of seats near the exit and their location in the aircraft can differ. You can find the layout of seats on the website of JSC “Orenburg Airlines” or ask the airline representative.

Refund service «Seat choice in the aircraft»:

  1. Involuntary refund of payment for “Seat choice in the aircraft” is made in case of involuntary refuse of passenger from transportation, subject to the rules of JSC “Orenburg Airlines” and Art. 277 of Federal Aviation Regulations “General Rules of Air Carriage of Passengers, Baggage, Cargo and Requirements to Servicing of Passengers, Consignors, Consignees”, approved by Order of the Ministry of Transportation on June 28, 2007 No. 82 (hereinafter - FAR No. 82), in case of unilateral termination of the contract of passenger air transportation by JSC “Orenburg Airlines” in accordance with Art. 230 of FAR No. 82 (except the case of unilateral termination of the contract of passenger air transportation by the carrier on the basis stipulated by Para. 6 Art. 230 of FAR No. 82, when the amount paid by the passenger for the service is not refunded), as well as in the cases when the service cannot be rendered due to the following reasons:
    • substitution of the aircraft type;
    • cancellation of flight;
    • replacement of passenger from the seat near emergency exit to another seat to ensure aviation security;
    • due to the other reasons, affecting flight safety upon decision of the airline representative or member of the crew.
  1. In cases referred to in Para. 1, the airline representative at the airport of departure or flight attendant on-board the aircraft (depending on time of passenger’s appeal for the stamp that it is impossible to provide the service), provides a passenger with a corresponding stamp in the boarding pass or in the e-ticket itinerary receipt.
    The refund is made to the passenger in full on the basis JSC “Orenburg Airlines” received:

    – within 10 working days after passenger’s appeal on the results of investigation (these documents should be sent to the following e-mail address: [email protected]).

  2. If the passenger did not use the chargeable service “Seat choice in the aircraft” because of voluntary refusal from transportation (Art. 229 FAR No. 82), airline representative at the airport of departure makes the corresponding stamp in the e-ticket itinerary receipt. The refund is made on the basis JSC “Orenburg Airlines” received:

    – within 10 working days after passenger’s appeal on the results of investigation (these documents should be sent to the following e-mail address: [email protected]).
