These rules will be effective from January, to March, 2014

JSC “Orenburg Airlines” changes the Rules for carriage and free baggage allowance for the flights originating in or departing to the airport of Sochi for the period of “Winter Olympics 2014”.

The Airline increases free baggage allowance:

25 kg – economy-class;
35 кг - kg – business-class.

Hand baggage is included in the free baggage allowance.

Sports equipment¹

One set of equipment is included in the free baggage allowance. Two or more sets of equipment are carried under the terms of the General rules for carriage.

¹ Sports equipment includes ski, snowboard and hockey equipment provided the following conditions are met:

Ski equipment	one case with 1 pair of skis and 1 pair of ski poles + 1 piece of baggage with 1 pair of ski boots
Snowboard equipment	1 case with 1 snowboard + 1 piece of baggage with 1 pair of snowboarding boots
Hockey equipment	one case with hockey kit + one case with 2 hockey sticks

Attention!

If the total weight of baggage exceeds free baggage allowance (more than 25/35 kg), every kilo in excess of the free baggage allowance shall be paid separately according to applicable charge².

Baggage with the weight of one item exceeding 32 kg is considered heavy-weight and is payable based on the total weight as per applicable charges².

Baggage with the sum of the three dimensions in a packed form exceeding 203 cm (lenght-width-height) is considered oversized regardless of weight and subject to a specified charge² (one set of equipment is an exception).

In case the weight of one baggage item exceeds 50 kg, such baggage is considered as cargo and therefore will be subject to the terms of the rules for carriage of cargo.
